How to add colors to pencil and highlighter
Upon entering the Goodnotes app, we can see that the Pencil and Highlighter display 3 colors for quick selection in the context area of the toolbar. You will need to tap on one of these 3 preset colors to change it and add a new color. If you touch one of the selected colors again, you can choose from a variety of other colors:
- Select a preset color
- Select from the color palette
- Mix your desired color using the color wheel
- Type in a HEX code to get the exact color

Rearranging colors
- Open the Presets.
- Tap Edit in the upper right corner.
- Long-press a color and drag it to a new position in the Presets.
Restoring the Presets to defaults
- Open the Presets.
- Tap the button in the top-left corner > Restore Color Set.
Removing colors
It is also possible to eliminate the colors to have only the colors that we use most frequently available.
For this, you must perform these simple steps:
- Open the Presets.
- Tap Edit in the upper right corner.
- Tap on the color you want to remove.
- Tap «Remove Color» at the bottom.
